Day 1

Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Bhalukpong: Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, where our representative will receive you. Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Bhalukpong (approx. 5–6 hours), the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh, nestled along the banks of the Kameng River. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax amidst the forested foothills. In the evening, take a stroll near the river or simply enjoy the mountain breeze.

Day 2

Bhalukpong to Dirang – Into the Eastern Himalayas: After breakfast, begin your drive to Dirang (approx. 6–7 hours), a picturesque hill town known for its apple orchards, hot water springs, and Monpa culture. En route, visit the Tipi Orchidarium, home to over 500 orchid species, and enjoy the changing landscape as you ascend. On arrival, check in and visit the Dirang Dzong, a centuries-old fort village. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 3

Dirang to Tawang – Over the Majestic Sela Pass: Get ready for one of the most scenic drives of your life as you head to Tawang (approx. 6–7 hours). Cross the breathtaking Sela Pass (13,700 ft), often covered in snow, and stop at the Sela Lake to enjoy the icy serenity. Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to a brave Indian soldier, and Nuranang Waterfall, a hidden gem en route. Arrive in Tawang by evening and settle into your hotel for a restful night.

Day 4

Tawang Sightseeing – Monastery & Culture: Explore the best of Tawang today. Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, the second-largest in the world and the spiritual heart of the region. Later, head to the Tawang War Memorial, built in honor of soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China war. You can also visit the Craft Centre, which showcases traditional Thangka paintings and wood carvings. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk or local market visit. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 5

Excursion to Bum La Pass & Madhuri Lake (subject to permit & weather): After early breakfast, set out for an unforgettable day trip to Bum La Pass, located at the Indo-China border (permission required). En route, visit the stunning Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake), formed by an earthquake and surrounded by dead tree trunks standing in pristine waters. Also visit P.T. Tso Lake, a lesser-known but beautiful alpine lake. Return to Tawang for the night.

Day 6

Tawang to Bomdila – Monastery Stay Experience: Check out after breakfast and drive back to Bomdila (approx. 6–7 hours), known for its panoramic mountain views and vibrant Monpa culture. On arrival, visit the serene Bomdila Monastery, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Check in to a monastery guesthouse or hotel. Evening at leisure to explore the local market and interact with locals.

Day 7

Bomdila to Guwahati – The Return Journey Begins: After breakfast, begin your descent back to Guwahati (approx. 9–10 hours). Enjoy the scenic drive filled with rivers, mountains, and pine forests. Arrive in Guwahati by evening and check in to your hotel. Relax after the long journey and prepare for a leisurely exploration of the city.

Day 8

Guwahati Sightseeing – Spiritual & Scenic: Start your day with a visit to the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of the most powerful Shakti Peethas in India. Later, explore Umananda Temple located on an island in the Brahmaputra River, and visit Assam State Museum or shop for local crafts at Fancy Bazaar. In the evening, enjoy an optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra, with music and dinner. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 9

Departure from Guwahati: After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Leave with unforgettable memories of high mountain passes, sacred monasteries, and the warm hospitality of Arunachal Pradesh.

Weather

Payment Policy

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking your travel package, with an additional 25% amount due no later than 30 days prior to departure. For standard travel packages, the remaining 50% balance can be settled during or after your trip but must be completed before the tour concludes. Failure to comply with our payment policy may result in the cancellation of your booking.

• If you choose to make payment through any method other than NEFT/RTGS, direct bank deposit, or cash payment, you will be responsible for any transfer charges incurred by banks or payment agencies

Cancellation Policy

We understand that most travelers who cancel their reservations do so due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies. However, cancellations require significant administrative resources, including dedicated staff time, communication costs, and pre-purchased arrangements. Therefore, all cancellations will incur the following fees based on the timing of cancellation:

Cancellation Charges:

• Before 30 days: 15% of the total tour cost
• 30 – 15 days: 30% of the total tour cost
• 14 – 7 days: 70% of the total tour cost
• 6 – 3 days: 80% of the total tour cost
• 2 – 0 days: 100% of the total tour cost

Additional Terms:

• All cancellations made within 25 days of trip commencement will attract a minimum cancellation charge of ₹10,000
• If you fail to join a tour, join after departure, or leave before completion, no refund will be provided
• The above cancellation fees are in addition to any charges that may be imposed by accommodation providers or third-party service cancellation fees

Cancellation Due To Natural Disasters And Unforeseen Circumstances

If your tour is cancelled or postponed due to natural disasters (landslides, snowfall, floods, earthquakes), severe weather conditions, road blockades, civil unrest, riots, or any weather-related or socio-political disruptions occurring at the last moment, no refund will be provided.

Specific Scenarios:

• If roads are blocked and travelers miss their scheduled accommodation, the full cost of the missed hotel stay will be charged, plus the cost of any emergency accommodation we arrange
• Travelers may choose to arrange and pay for emergency accommodation at their own expense
• If a particular destination must be cancelled at the last moment, the full amount for that portion will be charged
• Changes to itineraries due to regional unrest or security concerns may require immediate rebooking, and travelers must cooperate with new arrangements

Important Disclaimer: This policy exists because natural phenomena and socio-political situations are beyond our control. Road blockages, regional conflicts, and weather emergencies can necessitate last-minute changes to travel plans. In such circumstances, travelers will bear the expenses for any required modifications to their itinerary.

While these situations are rare, they can affect any traveler. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in such exceptional circumstances.
